What is Hakomi?

Being human is complicated. We are shaped by the family that raised us as well as the society/culture and global events the family is embedded within. These influences can create habits that limit our full potential. These habits operate in the background, unconsciously influencing how we are with others as well as with ourselves. Hakomi reveals the unconscious habits that made you who you are and can transform them into who you want to be.

Hakomi draws from Eastern mind-body-spirit modalities and mindfulness as well as Western psychology and Living Systems Theory. While primarily a method of psychotherapy, Hakomi fits with many mind-body, educational, coaching, and wellness modalities. If you are in the healing arts field, interested in self-discovery or find yourself intrigued by this word, Hakomi, please join!

This a FREE 2hr talk on Hakomi Mindfulness-Based Somatic Psychology, facilitated by Rupesh Chhagan. There will be a short lecture, experiential exercises and a demonstration. Space is limited, so please RSVP to reserve your spot.

Rupesh Chhagan is a BC Licensed TCMP (Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner) and Certified Hakomi Practitioner & Trainer. More about Rupesh here: https://www.rupeshchhagan.com
